New shopfronts made to measure, and repairs to the one you’ve got. Door leaves, closers, floor springs, locks and glass. Over 20 years in aluminium, working direct with shops, landlords and managing agents.

Whole shopfronts, entrance screens, serving hatches and automatic entrances. Thermally broken aluminium, any RAL colour, toughened or laminated throughout. Surveyed properly before anything is ordered, so it fits the opening you’ve actually got.
Thermally broken profile as standard, so the frontage isn’t costing you a fortune to heat. Any RAL colour, matt, satin or gloss, with dual colour if the inside needs to differ from the shop sign outside.
Toughened and laminated glass to the right spec for a shopfront, and the option of acoustic or solar control where the unit faces a main road or full sun.
Fitted around your trading hours. Most single frontages go in inside a day, and we board and make secure overnight if it runs on.
We measure the opening, check what’s behind the existing frame and photograph it. Nothing is ordered off a sketch.
You get an elevation and a fixed price, with the glass and finish spelled out so you can compare it properly.
Made to the surveyed sizes. Usually three to four weeks, less on a standard frontage.
Out and in the same visit wherever we can, with the unit left secure every night.
Most of what we see doesn’t need replacing. If the frame is sound, a repair is a fraction of the cost and we’ll tell you so — everything below is the repair side.
Most shopfront problems are one of these four. All of them are a repair long before they’re a replacement, and all of them are parts we carry or can have next day.
A new leaf made to fit your existing frame. No shopfront out, no making good, no scaffold. Usually a morning’s work.
The most common shopfront fault there is. A door that slams, won’t shut or drags on the threshold is nearly always the closer, not the door.
Broken, cracked or misted units replaced to the right safety spec. Boarded the same day if we can’t glaze it on the spot.
Hookbolts, deadlocks, cylinders, pull handles and panic bars. Fitted properly and, where it’s a fire exit, to the right standard.
A new shopfront runs into thousands. Most of what comes through the door is a few hundred. Here’s the difference on three recent jobs.

Dropped, binding and letting the weather in. Rebuilt and rehung rather than replaced.

Leaking and no longer pulling the door to. Swapped and set to the correct opening force.

Boarded on the night, measured the same visit, glazed in toughened two days later.
A shopfront door isn’t just a door. Three things on it are covered by standards, and they’re the three that get picked up on an inspection.
Panic bars where the public use the building, emergency exit devices where staff know the layout. If it’s a fire exit it has to open first time under pressure, and a seized or painted-over device is a finding waiting to happen.
An accessible entrance shouldn’t take more than 30N to push open from closed, easing to 22.5N as it swings. Most doors that feel heavy are an over-tightened closer, and that’s a fifteen minute adjustment.
Powered pedestrian doors need a safety check by a competent person at least once a year, sensors and forces included. We service them and leave you the paperwork.
If the frame is sound and square you’re almost always better off keeping it. The frame is the expensive, disruptive part.
Sometimes the sums don’t work. We’ll say so rather than sell you a repair that won’t see the year out.
Shopfront doors fail from use, not age. A door on a busy unit does thousands of cycles a week. Servicing it costs a fraction of the emergency that follows when it finally goes.
Right for a single unit or a quieter entrance.
For high traffic entrances, parades and anything automatic.
If you’ve got your own maintenance man, buy the part and fit it yourself. Trade prices, next day, no labour on top.
