COR Vision: 20mm meeting sightline, sashes up to 2500 x 3000mm. COR Vision Plus: for bigger openings, sashes up to 4000 x 4000mm, glazing up to 56mm and motorised opening. Both can have the bottom track integrated into the floor.

Handle Colour

Each set of leaves has a handle on its opening end. A traffic door (the odd leaf in a set) has a lever handle and multipoint lock, so you can use it day to day without folding the rest.

Every pane is toughened safety glass. Low E 1.2 is included in the price.

Each sliding sash has a slim pull handle and lock on its closing edge, so it locks shut against the frame or the sash it meets.

Every opening sash has a locking handle with an espagnolette lock and friction stays. Sashes open out.

6 Frame Extenders

Frame extenders pack the outer frame out to suit the opening. Leave as None if you are not sure — we will check on survey.

Prices here are supply only. Installation is quoted separately, as access, making good and the existing opening all affect it. A survey is included free when we fit. On supply only it is optional: £180 + VAT, refunded when you order.

      Additional Options & What Is Included

      Everything below applies to the doors in this builder, including the window, bi-fold and sliding door technical data. If anything is not covered, call 0151 440 2978 and we will price it by hand.

      Supplied As Standard
      • Every door is supplied complete with its frame.
      • Handing is shown on the reference drawing. All elevations are viewed from outside, with the hinge lines pointing to the hinge side.
      • The frame is supplied in the same colour as the door. A different colour inside to outside is available — set it under Inside Frame Colour.
      • Designer panels are 28mm as standard. Maximum panel size 1250 x 2500mm.
      • Side screens are sized including the frame, in clear or obscure glass, or a plain insulated panel powder coated to suit the door.
      • Pairs of doors can be equal (French) or unequal, with a wider opening master leaf and a narrower slave leaf.
      • Powder coated finish in matt, satin, gloss or textured. Any of the eight standard RAL colours, or any colour from the full RAL index as a non-standard finish.
      Thresholds, Cills & Frame Extensions
      • Thresholds: standard 55mm, low 20mm, or low with a 40mm rebate. A low threshold drops the bottom of the door, as shown on the drawing.
      • Aluminium cills in 90mm, 150mm, 190mm and 230mm. Cills are powder coated to a RAL colour and cannot be matched to a woodgrain or foil finish.
      • Top and side frame extensions in 25mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm, to fill out a larger structural opening. Left, top and right can be specified independently.
      Handles, Locks & Cylinders
      • Lever handle — supplied as a matching pair, inside and out, in your chosen hardware finish. Fitted with a multipoint lock, locked and unlocked by key.
      • Bar handle — 38mm diameter, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1600mm, 1800mm or full height, in stainless steel or black, on the outside face, with a lever handle on the inside. Fitted with a slam-shut, key only lock and wind cylinder: the door locks as it closes and needs a key to open from outside.
      • Hardware finishes: black, white, anthracite grey, chrome, satin and gold. Where a bar handle is chosen the bar is stainless or black, so the hardware finish applies to the hinges only.
      • Hinges are supplied in black or white to suit the door colour.
      • Letterplate in polished chrome. One letterplate per door.
      • A spy hole (door viewer) can be added to panelled doors. Letterplates come with an internal draught flap.
      • Cylinder upgrade: anti-snap 3-star euro cylinder.
      • Bar handles in stainless steel or black: 1000mm, 1200mm, 1600mm, 1800mm or full height.
      Glazing & Panel Options
      • Designer panels — clear and satin obscure glazing are both included at no extra cost.
      • Glazed doors — Low E 1.2 u-value as standard. Also available: 6.8 laminated 1.2, Low E 1.0, 6.8 acoustic laminated, and triple glazed 0.6 u-value.
      • Glass finish: clear toughened, obscured toughened, or supplied unglazed.
      • PAS 24 certified glazing available on glazed doors.
      • Transom and astragal bars available on glazed doors.
      Sizes, Survey & Fitting
      • Doors are made to your sizes — there are no fixed standard sizes.
      • Give the overall frame size, not the leaf size. Side screen and toplight sizes are also frame sizes.
      • The guide price is supply only. For fitting, tick Add installation on step 7 and we will come back with an installed price.
      • Delivery is free within 25 miles of L34. Further afield, delivery is priced on request.
      • If we fit it, a survey is included free: we measure before anything is made.
      • Supply only does not include a survey. If you would like us to measure, tick Add survey: it is £180 + VAT, paid before we attend and refunded in full when you place your order.
      • Without a survey, the sizes you supply are the sizes we manufacture to.
      Cortizo Bi-Fold Doors: Technical Data
      • Thermally broken aluminium bi-fold system by Cortizo, for opening up large spaces with slim, modern sightlines.
      • Thermal performance: Uw from 0.97 W/m²K, depending on size, configuration and glass.
      • Weather performance (tested at the Cortizo test centre): air permeability Class 4, water tightness Class 9A, wind resistance Class A3.
      • Security: passed PAS 24 testing (reference test, 3 leaves, configuration 3•3•0, 2701 x 2517mm).
      • Sightlines: 73mm frame and 73mm sash. Profile wall thickness 1.8mm, extrusion alloy 6063 T5.
      • Thermal break: 20mm polyamide strips in the frame, 30mm in the sash.
      • Glazing: double or triple glazed units from 25mm to 45mm thick, toughened safety glass as standard.
      • Leaf limits: each leaf up to 1200mm wide, 3000mm high and 120kg. This builder prices leaves from 500mm wide and configurations from 3 to 7 leaves; anything else we price by hand.
      • Configurations: open in or open out. The system goes up to 14 leaves, and open-out versions can turn a 90° corner without a post.
      • Thresholds: standard, or a low threshold with the bottom frame inlaid into the floor for level access.
      • Finishes: any RAL colour, matt, satin, gloss or textured, powder coated to Qualicoat standard. Dual colour available.
      Cortizo Casement Windows: Technical Data
      • Thermally broken aluminium casement window system by Cortizo, in the flush sash version: the sashes sit flush with the frame for clean, straight lines.
      • Thermal performance: Uw from 0.9 W/m²K, depending on size, design and glass. 32mm polyamide thermal break.
      • Weather performance (tested at the Cortizo test centre): air permeability Class 4, water tightness Class E1200, wind resistance Class CE 2400.
      • Security: passed PAS 24 testing (reference test 1.44 x 1.33m, 1 sash + 1 fixed light).
      • Acoustic: up to Rw 45dB with acoustic glass. Glazing units from 23 to 44mm.
      • Opening: open out, side hung or top hung, with locking handles, espagnolette locks and friction stays.
      • Sash sizes: side hung up to 950 x 1300mm (750 x 1750mm heavy duty), top hung up to 1200 x 1300mm (1800 x 1800mm heavy duty).
      • Profiles: 70mm frame and sash sightlines, 1.6mm walls, alloy 6063 T5. Any RAL colour, Qualicoat powder coat, dual colour available.
      Cortizo Sliding Doors: Technical Data
      • Thermally broken minimal sliding systems by Cortizo, built for big glass and the slimmest possible meeting sightline.
      • COR Vision: 20mm central meeting sightline, Uw from 1.3 W/m²K, acoustic insulation up to Rw 41dB, glazing 26 to 30mm. Air permeability Class 4, water tightness Class 7A, wind resistance Class C5. PAS 24 security test passed. Sashes up to 2500mm wide, 3000mm high and 320kg. Openings up to 13.2m wide in 6 sashes.
      • COR Vision Plus: 25mm central meeting sightline, Uw from 0.9 W/m²K, acoustic insulation up to Rw 43dB, glazing 36 to 56mm (double or triple). Air permeability Class 4, water tightness up to Class 9A, wind resistance up to Class C4. Sashes up to 4000 x 4000mm, 400kg manual or 700kg motorised.
      • Integrated floor (both systems): the bottom track can be set into the finished floor for a level threshold, inside to outside.
      • Automation (Vision Plus): motorised sliding sashes. A 13A switched fused spur must be in place within 1000mm of the opening before we attend to install.
      • Layouts: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 sashes, on 1, 2 or 3 tracks. Either system can turn a 90° corner with no post. Pocket sliders are available and priced by hand.
      • Profiles: extrusion alloy 6063 T5, 1.7mm walls (Vision) and 2.0mm (Vision Plus).
      • Finishes: any RAL colour, powder coated to Qualicoat standard, wood effect or anodised. Dual colour available.
      Quotations & Terms
      • The figure shown in this builder is a guide price. It is not a formal offer and is not binding.
      • Ask for a written quotation and we will check the specification, confirm the price in writing and tell you the lead time for your particular door.
      • Prices are shown excluding VAT.
      • Written quotations are valid for 30 days.
      • Lead time is 3 to 4 weeks from receipt of your deposit.
      • Doors are made to measure to your specification, so once manufacture has started an order cannot be cancelled. This does not affect your statutory rights.
      • Payment: 50% deposit on order, balance before delivery.
      • Non-standard RAL colours carry a surcharge and extend the lead time.
      • Colours shown on screen are indicative only. Ask for a sample before committing to a colour.
      • The drawing is a reference elevation to confirm the arrangement. It is not to scale and is not a manufacturing drawing.
